GREASE BOWLING PARTY - AGE 8 For my son's 8th birthday we had a Grease themed bowling Party.INVITATIONS: I took 45 records and made labels on them, on one side had a 50's car and said Grease is the Word, on the other side I put the party details and said Rock n' Roll on over to the Liverpool Bowling Alley ......and wear your 50's best...I ordered 50's plates, cups, centerpiece etc from Perfect Party by Cody. at the Bowling alley we had a table set up and I set it with the plates etc, and myler balloons shaped likes 50's cars.. got them from ebay.They looked great.I played the Grease soundtrack during the bowling. There were 15 kids and the girls came with Poodle skirts and the boys wore white t-shirts and had their jeans rolled up.They looked great. We bowled for an hour and then ate. FOOD: We had hotdogs and onion rings in baskets served at the bowling alley and rootbeer. I had a cake made in the shape of a red 57 Chevy.TREAT BAGS: I had red party paper bags for the boys filled with a 50's hot wheels car, a copy of the Grease soundtrack(i burned them), a black comb, chips, and retro candy(bottle caps, bazooka gum, hot lips,wax botles)for the girls they had pink bags with red lipstick, cherry lip balm and a pink scarf and the candy. I printed out the word Grease and cut out and stapled the bag shut with it.  This was an easy party and the kids had a great time.
