For my 9th birthday I wanted to do something really unique no one has ever done before. I was really obessed with the 50's so I wanted to base my birthday around that. Well one night I was watching a movie and had an idea to throw my birthday at the drive in near my house.  INVITATIONS- get funky looking paper and then print out or buy small paper record players or jukeboxes to put on top. Then say, join ---- for a swingin time. Then just list all of your information.  PARTY- For the party my mom and I bought lots of old types of candy like wax bottles, sugar daddys, chicklets, wax lips, and pixie sticks. We made reservations at this place that was kind of like a bar/ resturant to have dinner. Then we all got into the car and drove to the drive in where my dad met us with a pick up truck and small directors chairs to sit and watch the movie in.  GOODIE BAGS- For the goodie bags we did difrent things for the diffrent genders. For the boys we had small model cars that had the theme of the 50's so we had T-Birds, Chevies, and other kinds of cars. For the girls we had things like sunglasses with rine stones in them and dolls and makeup.  Good Luck!
