My Sweet 16 party is in one month, and I couldn't find anything to do. Then suddenly, I was watching Happy Days and got this idea: I LOVE the 50's. I love how the people sang, acted and just
were in their ways. So I started planning what I'm going to do. Everyone invited has to dress up like someone from the 50's: like in Poodle Skirts and Saddle shoes, or Greaser's and
Pink Ladies, etc... The food being served at my party will be just liked food at a 50's diner: Cheeseburgers, French Fries, Milk Shakes, and Coke. The activities that are going to
be going on are a lip-syncing contest to 1950's songs, and a hula-hooping contest, and a pinata. The decorations are all going to be 50's oriented, like with an inflatable jukebox, and
records, records, records. I'm actually making my own Poodle Skirt and my mom is making the invitations via her computer.
If you're looking for a cost effective party idea, this is one. I don't think we're spending over $300 on my party at all.
