For my sons 4th birthday we had an airplane party.
I mailed out tickets with the information and it also had a picture of the airplane on the ticket. I had airplanes and clouds taped to the floor. I played an airplane song and each time the music stopped if you landed on a cloud you were out of the game. If you landed on a airplane you could continue playing. I did this until there was one player left. That player one a prize. Another game we played was FIND THE AIRPLANES IN THE CLOUDS.I filled up his water table with cotton balls and I hid airplane toys in there .You could use a big bowl or pan if you don't have a water table.I put the airplane in ziplock baggies so there was no fighting .Each kid got to find one bag of airplanes in the clouds (cottonballs). They also got to color and put there own airplanes together. I found those at oriental trading. Then they had a flying contest. For the cake my aunt made an airplane cake we covered the card table with a big map and sat the cake on the table. I also got some traveler brochures to put on that table. I bought Hershey's candy bars and took the Hershey wrapper of and replaced it with one I made on the computer. It had a big picture of an airplane and under neath it said. Thank you for flying with us on Michaels fourth birthday. I passed these out at the end
