Invitation: I found some como" invitations that I stamped with Snoopy flying an airplane. The boys were invited to the local airplane museum where the party was held inside an
old military plane.
Decorations: Decorations were not needed as the airplanes were the main focus. The boys got to sit in the pilots seat and pretend to fly the plane. "Como" covered tables were set up in the cargo space and the cake was sitting at the end of the cargo plane. My son was wearing a "flight suit" that he wore for Halloween and each boy received "dog tags" with his name printed on it when he arrived. Activities: The boys were given a tour of the aircraft museum. They enjoyed taking pictures of the old planes with the disposable camera each was given when they arrived. They asked questions and learned a great deal. One little boy said "style" and height. Party snacks: The party was from 2-4 so a meal was not given but just an idea... a military style lunch could be provided. The boys snacked on peanuts popcorn and chips before we served the cake and icecream. Cake: The cake had a picture of military jets on it and was trimmed in como frosting. Favors: I ordered some military truck favor boxes from Oriental Trading and filled them with army men airplanes and paper airplanes."
