Amazing Race Party: I hosted an amazing race party that was unreal! Like the TV show participants had to get to a certain location and compete in different tasks.
Everyone loved it and had a blast! Here were the clues and events they had to do.... Their 1st Clue told them to go to the park and fill in the blanks on the sheet of paper I gave them when they filled in the blanks from a sign posted at the park it lead them to the next clue. 2nd Clue they had to look through a phone book (only 2 were available so they had to wait their turn) and look for a spa that offered specific treatment listed in their ad and then go there. When they arrived I was there to give them their 3rd Clue. 3rd Clue go to the supermarket and find the follow UPC XXXXXX on an extract and fill in the blanks. The extract was Peppermint and when they filled in the blanks it told them to buy one mint from the bulk food ailse and submit the receipt to a lady wearing blue at Mc Donald's who would then give them their 4th Clue 4th Clue gave them the slogan "Roll Back the prices" (a walmart slogan) and then told them to go there where they would look for someone with specific things in their shoppping cart and you had to ask them for the next clue. 5th Clue was to find in the Walmart parking lot a white car with the following symbol hanging from their windsheild. In the back window it gave directions to the next location by telling them to turn right after the 2nd bus stop. Turn right after 3 fire hydrants and left at the next lights etc. This brought them to the park where they had the choice of running up a very steep hill in a three-legged race style with their team to obtain their clue or they could go to the other side of the park to obtain their next clue. 6th Clue told them to go to #3 where metal birds fly (terminal 3 at the airport). They had to find someone wearing all black and ask them for their seat once they did if it was the right person that person would move seats and on the seat would be their next clue. 7th clue told them to go to the cemetary and find out the name of the person between Mr. Smith and Mr. Johnson. It was williams. They needed this to find the next street they would go to which was Williams parkway and we met at the park there where they competed in a mini obstacle course. Everyone pitched in $5 to cover costs and the prize. It was well worth the planning but don't plan on doing an event this large if you don't have help...I had 3 other people helping me. Definately a hit!
