For my 12th Birthday Party I wanted somthing different and fun so I wanted to do an Amazing Race Party. For the Invitations I got a cheep recorder, and I had my brother say what was happening, the date, time, what to bring, and will your tribe win all on the tape.When everyone got there I had already divided up the teams into four colors(pink,red,green,and yellow) I gave out shirts that were the color with a ginger bread man on it saying catch me if you can and on the back said Elena's anazing race. All I had to do was print out the pictures on special paper and iron them onto the shirts. We hannded out a piece of paper to every team with the first task on it.The first task was to go on a scavenger hunt and only get one item at each house.(Plastic Fork,Empty Toilet Paper Roll,Piece of Birthday Wrapping Paper,Colored Paper,Penny,Target Ad) Once you got all the items you race back to my house and get your items confirmed by my mom, and then she would give you your next task. We had to race to my friends house close by and there my brother gave you a cookie and you had to eat it and he would give you your next task. Like the show I did a roadblock a roadblock where only one person on your team can do the task we had to go back to my house and suck jello with a straw untill it was all gone then you would get your next task. You got to choose one task out of two. The first one was to untie ribons on a tree untill you found the black X. The second was one person is blind folded and their team mates tell them where a stuffed animal is. Once you do one task you will get your next task which was another scavenger hunt(Balloon, Pencil, Soap Wrapper or Box, Store Receipt, Empty Soda Can, and a People Magazine)Bring them to my mom and get you final task which was to race into the kitchen and eat baby food not using a spoon.(it was just peaches)The team that one got 1st place ribons and 10 dollers each. After that we went in the pool and had dinner and cake. It was one of the best parties I ever had.
