American Girl Spa Sleepover: For my 13th birthday, I had an American Girl Spa Sleepover. I invited three other girls, to make it an even number.  INVITATIONS: I based this party idea on the American Girl beauty products at Bath & Body Works. The color scheme on the bottles is pink and orange.  So, I went to a nearby scrapbooking store and found orange and pink patterned paper.  I cut them up into the size of index cards, and I printed out information to put it on the invitations.  The information read, "Get ready for a night of pampering and primping at NAME'S Spa Sleepover! Why: My Birthday Where: ADDRESS When: DATE RSVP By: DATE/PHE #.  PS: Please bring a pair of flip flops." I cut the information out with special scrapbooking scissors and put it on the invitation using pink and orange heart stickers.  DECORATIONS:  I had different sections, to make different rooms. I hung up pink and orange streamers to make room dividers. THE PARTY: First, we got our nails done in the "Posh Polish Room".  Instead of my Mom helping, we did each others nails, to make it more fun.  I had one long table, and two chairs on each side.  I had lots of different nail polishes for the girls to choose. We partnered up, and one group did the other's group nails. When their nails were dry, they did the other group's nails.  Then, we went to the next room, "Renewal Room".  I had bought one bottle of American Girl Hand + Foot Cream, Daily Body Lotion and Body Spray. Girls took turn using the hand and foot cream to give each other hand and foot messages.  Then we put on the lotion and sprayed ourselves with the spray.  After that, I handed out cucumber slices to put over our eyes and I had a timer set for 15 minutes. After that, we went into the "R+R Room", which stands for Rest + Relaxtion. We sat in comfy chairs and ate pizza.  I also had a table with healthy snacks, like carrots, in that room. After we ate pizza, we opened presents and then, we ate cake, which had pink and orange frosting (made with food coloring).  Then, we watched some chick flicks, like Mean Girls. In the morning, we had waffles and donuts, and I handed out goody bags, which was a small pink sheer bag filled with American Girl Shampoo, Conditioner, and a small pink and orange sponge.  THE END:  The party was a hit, and everyone enjoyed getting primped and pampered!
