Army Party My twin sons wanted an ARMY party for their 5th birthdays. We sent invitations that said to report for basic training wearing fatigues. We painted the recruits faces
green and brown like camoflague. We set up a tent to serve as HQ.
We had an obstacle course using old tires, a rope to swing across a water hazard which was a plastic swimming pool, a rope net that was hanging in a tree and tunnels that were made from cardboard refrigerator boxes spray painted green. They got medals for completing the couse. We had a tug of war including the parents. Their cake was decorated like an American Flag. Tables were decorated using camo net. Party favors were army men, water guns, flash lights and polaroid pictures with the birthday boys. The kids loved wearing their camo clothes and this was our favorite party. Boys and girls loved it.
