My daughter's 5th birthday was in August so I thought a back to school theme would be appropriate for the season. So we purchased SpaceMaker colorful boxes which we labeled with each child's
name and decorated using Uni-paint markers and rubber stamping techniques to personalize. Each box was stuffed with a small notebook, eraser, pens, pencils, ruler, highlighter, crayons,
homemade bookmark, stickers, and a laminated luggage tag to attach to their book bag.
The cake was designed like a composition notebook. The games we played were the traditional ones taught at school; hot potato, duck-duck-goose, and dodge ball.
