This game was played at a back-to-school party I try to put on each year for the neighborhood. I call it the "Get Ready for School" relay race. All ages can play. Each leg of the
relay must perform a stunt either before or after they run. The first "leg" usually the youngest guest, must get out of bed, I just lay down a towel/old blanket and have them lie
down and at the whistle they get up and run and tag the next player. Second, brush teeth. I hid a few cheap toothbrushes in a toy box (because with kids, things end up in strange places).
Third, eat breakfast--they must eat all the Jell-O before they can move on. Fourth, get dressed. The kids liked this part the best. I had two bags, one with men's clothing and the other with
women's each having an equal amount of items. The kids didn't know this but the boys had the girl clothes and the girl had the boy clothes. Fifth leg, get school books--the kids had to
balance books on their head while wal! king to tag the next player. Last leg, catch the bus. Carry a smaller child piggy back style across the finish line. If no small children, it could be
wheelbarrow style. Have fun.
