BACKWARDS PARTY! When my daughter was six, she will soon be sweet 16, I planned a backwards party. I printed up the invitations from back to front on paper. Each child was asked to dress backwards. When they arrived to the party they entered backwards and instead of saying hello, they said good-bye, thanks for inviting me!  My daughter thanked her guests than opened the gift, we than ate cake and ice-cream, gave out the goodie bags, played games, and than ate pizza. When the children left, again they went out backwards and instead of saying good-bye, they said Hello and Happy Birthday.  It was such a great time! The children as well as the parents thought it was a nice change.  Enjoy!
