I have created a miniature backyard to be used as a table top for the cake table, out of foamboard, construction paper, plastic plants to be the mini trees, cut gift wrap paper to small sizes
to be the lawn. Also created with foam a swing and a slider. I added a small swimming pool and added the 5 backyardigans friends in miniature as well. I also drew and painted the 5
friend in a larger scale (18 of lenght) in the foamboard and painted them to hand the on the wall behind the cake table.
I put the cake on its side and a lot of candies surrounding it. I can send you pictures is you like to visualize it. Thank you Daniela"
