Invitation: My little boy just turned 2 recently.  We live on 2 acres with a barn.  I found at Hobby Lobby cowboy hat invitations.  I used wording such as down on the farm" "say yee-haw by" etc. they even had the string and bead attached.  They were too cute! Food:  I used two wheel barrels full of ice for capri suns and bottle water. I had two large glass drink dispensers that we labled one as "Farmers Sweet Tea" & "Barnyard Lemonade". I decorated the signs with embelishments.  Decorations: I covered the tables with red checkered table cloths and placed deer corn down the center. I found some small metal buckets and placed "chicken feed"in them.  This was just chex mix and candy corn. I had balloons everywhere.  I found cow print latex balloons from Oriental Trading along with barnyard animal balloons that you used stickers to make the animal faces. Activities:  We hired pony rides and a petting zoo to come to the party. The kids also participated in a cow pinata (oriental trading) My husband pulled the kids on a hay ride around the yard.   Treat Bags:  Red gift bags were used with large foam barnyard animals barns and tractors. I tied the handles with rafia. Each childs name was written on the bag with a thank you label on the back. "Thank you for helping me celebrate my 2nd Birthday""
