My son, Briar, will be four years old October 4.
We had went on a tractor maze with him last year for fun and remembered how all the kids there had so much fun and we decided to go again this year and have his party there. We talked with the man who holds the tractor maze, Edgar, and he allowed us to use his picnic table and gave us a group discount rate. In turn we bought pumpkins from his farm and will each decorate one with black and white paints and the older children are doing gourd birdhouses and pumpkin carvings ( the best on wins a prize and Edgar is the judge). My son loves to play in the leaves and we are gonna make big leave piles they can jump in and make simple leaf wreathes for the parents. The wife of the farm owner has offered to take them through and show them the animals. I like to incorporate a learning experience disguised by fun instead of just the plain party. Yes we have birthday cake and ice cream, and each person gets a cupcake with a small lit candle to make their own wish.
