For my son's third birthday he decided that he wanted an Old MacDoanld Birthday Party. I rented the barnyard at the local agriculture museum. The child rode ponies and fed the
animals in the barn.
I decorated the tables with red and white checked picnic tablecloths. The plates were plastic silver to resemble galvanized pie plates. We served hot dogs, chips and cake. For party favors, I purchased small galvanized buckets. I decorated each child's bucket with their names on it. I found Barney goes to the Farm books at the local Dollar Tree and farm coloring books and placed one of each in each child's bucket along with packages of candy corn. While riding the ponies I took one Polaroid picture of each child on the pony to put in their buckets.
