Backyard Barnyard Bash For My Two Year Old Daughter   We sent out Barnyard invitations inviting the whole family to come not just the children. We decorated with bails of hay and placed animal cut-outs on small pieces of wood and placed them in the hay. Chickens, cows, ducks, ect... any farm animal your child likes. And lots of balloons.  As the children arrived we gave them farm animal noses. You can find them at party stores.  They have small ones for small children. The kids loved the noses. We severed bar-b-que, corn on the cob, and potato salad. Hotdogs and burgers would be fine. Just think simple and good.  The cake I made was a 3-D Lamb placed on a green iced sheet cake. You could decorate the sheet cake with plastic animals if you wish.  Favors where red buckets filled with plastic farm animals, musical instruments, bubbles, and candy. I found cow tails and gummies worms to be cute.  And of course you have to play pin the tail on the donkey.
