My son turned six this year and loves baseball. I started out by making invitations that looked like baseball tickets.
For the seat, row and section I put his birthdate. For example: Seat 6 Row 17 Section 97 Because he was born June 17, 1997. For the game number I wrote GAME 6 for the age he was going to be. Everyone just loved them! For the cake I made a baseball hat and baseball cupcakes. I made the cake yellow and the cupcakes chocolate. I also purchased plastic baseball hats from a discount store and used them to decorate and to also hold snacks and the silverware. I also purchased baseball glove snack trays for snacks. The snacks we had were: Popcorn, I asked our baseball association for the boxes they use for the popcorn in the snack bar, peanuts, Sunflower seeds, Cracker jacks, and cotton candy. I also found large popcorn balls that had PLAY BALL written on th wrappers. We made the kids snow cones and they all got to play T-ball in the yard. In the beaseball pinata I put bubble gum, suckers, and toostie rolls. I also made treat bags for each kid to take home. They we normal bags but I cut out foam circles and decorated them like baseballs. The bags included: a baseball keychain, baseball whistle, a baseball frame from (Oriental Trader),Sunflower seeds, a magnetic baseball frame for the fridge, A toothbrush with Cleveland Indians logo, and bubble gum. Each kid also got to take home a blow up baseball. We purchased a baseball and had all the guest sign it as they showed up. I was very excited to throw such a woinderful party and I think all the guests had a really fun time!!!
