Baseball Birthday Party  Invites:  Grand Slam and enclose a ticket for the game at (your) ball park.  Also enclose some tickets to use for food.  Decorations: Use grass turf made up into a baseball field.  (Because in MT it is fall at the end of October) needs to be indoors.  Could set up field out in the yard if you did this in the summer season.  Red and White stars, streamers and balloons in red, white and blue.  Food: Use the large baseball caps about 3 inches for ice cream and let the kids make up sundaes. Have a food stand and served hot dogs and bun, pop corn and sodas (don't forget to use up your tickets). Peanuts also are must. Cake: Baseball hat.  Cook up cake mix in a Pyrex bowl and then cut about 1 1/2 inches off bottom and shape about 1/2 of the cut off part to be the front of the cap.  Decorate with frosting and use licorice strings as the lines in the cap. Can also use as favors Baseball pencils, erasers and note pads. Of course there has to be candy like Babe Ruth bars, Cracker Jacks, and Big League Chew gum. Game prizes: Travel baseball or whistles.   Games: Limbo with a baseball bat, egg and spoon race, Velcro target, pin the baseball on the field (adapt like pin the tale on the donkey). Wiffle Balls - have a hoop and see how many times they can get it through the hoop.  Highest Score wins. All games each highest score is awarded a medal (be sure each person receives one for different reasons to be fair). Best pitcher, best catcher, best hitter and so on. Go Team Go!!
