Theme: Blue's Clues  We had a blue's clues bouncer (AKA moonwalk), a blue's clue's birthday cake, blue's clues party favors and we played blue's clues games. - Decorations - Tops from blue's clues bubble bath and shampoo that we saved from those blue's clues things that my son craves each time we visit the store, Blue's Clues toy figures, and pages that we downloaded from the nickelodeon web page and colored as a family activity.  Standard streamers (blue, magenta & yellow) and helium filled balloons.  We also had a couple of blue's clues balloons. - Snacks - Blue's Clues birthday cake Red punch with blue ice cubes Pizza with blue's pawprints (here I was creative and used the pawprints from some macaroni and cheese) Blue's Clues gummy candy (I could not find a big bag but Kmart sells pre-packaged party favors that contain individual size bags) - Games - Each party guest was given a handy dandy notebook (created by downloading pages from the nickelodeon web site and stringing the pages together with yarn) and a big, green crayon. Since some children are more able and willing to draw the clues than others we began by playing a game that was mostly focused on encouraging them to draw. We took three plastic Easter eggs and put one clue in each egg.  We hid the eggs one at a time and had the children to find the eggs. When an egg was found the children went inside and huddled around a dry erase board. A parent stood up front and instructed the group on how to draw the clue. The other parents were available to provide individual help.  While the children were drawing the clue, I was out back hiding the next egg.  Once all three clues had been found we knew what Blue wanted to do.  The next game was more like an Easter Egg Hunt. Again the pictures of the clues were placed in plastic Easter eggs.  This time all of the eggs were hidden at once and the children were grouped into teams. Each team was assigned a color.  Each team also had a captain who was a parent attending the party.  Each team looked for eggs the color of their team color (3 eggs for each team).  When all three eggs were found the team drew the clues in their handy dandy notebooks (captain available to help) and solved the mystery.  Each team was a winner and was able to pick a prize from the jar as they found their three clues and figured out what Blue wanted to do.  We had enough clues prepared to play this game for hours.  We also had a piņata and played games that we downloaded from the Nickelodeon web page.
