Take a regular sheetcake pan and cut a wedge out of the middle and turn it in a an open book design cake. Ice the cake with frosting and decorate the book pages with designs or with ABC's and numbers and such. Put a border around the top and bottom of the cut, a ribbon border and make a bookmark strip down the middle of the book.
