Book Exchange Party: My 10 year old daughter loves to read. She often reads the same book several times over, and she owns more than we have room for.  With this in mind I decided for her birthday to have each person bring as many gently used books as they'd like (with parent okay). We put them all on a table and everyone picked out 'new' books to take home.  If someone wanted the same book, they re-traded them for others.  Any books that were left over are donated to shelters etc. Goodie bags were mini canvas book bags that each person decorated with rhinestones, sequins etc..bookmarks and apple shaped sugar cookies. Each guest is given a random book character that is taped to thier back. They ask other players questions as to the identity of 'who' they are.  Based on the clues they have to guess the character.
