If you're wanting to have a party with a bowling theme but you want to have it at home, making the "bowling pins" is really very easy. I did this at my daughters 2nd birthday
party and the kids had loads of fun with it even though an adult had to help them reset the "Pins". All you have to do is save 2 liter bottles (you can make "sets"
with either 6 or 10 depending on the age of your child. Cut a slit in the side of the bottle and slip colored tissue paper inside along with several pieces of candy and/or party
treats/prizes. For children 3 or over you can tape bits of paper to the floor to show them where to put each colored "pin" and they can have a blast with any ordinary play
ball. The added plus is that you've also made your "treat bags" once you've made the pins. Just send one home with each child!!1
