Bratz Party 7yr For my daughters 7th birthday she decided on a Bratz theme. I got Bratz plates & cups from the party store & solid colored napkin, forks, spoons, & table
cloth. For decorations, i draped streamers in 2 colors on the walls & balloons in the 2 colors in the corners. In our kitchen doorway I made a ribbon curtain (like the bead curtains) in
gold. I also made another one in our sliding glass door behind the kitchen table. From the ceiling in the kitchen & living room, I hung gold & blue stars, gold curly ribbon, purple
& pink sunglasses that I printed off the internet, gold balls that I'd made by glue gold glitter to styrofoam balls, microphones I'd made from wrapping balls in foil & taping them to
toliet paper rolls then wrapping the tissue rolls in black construction paper. I hung them all with fishing line so to be linvisable. I printed out a bratz picture off the internet &
enlarged it to poster size & hung it from the mailbox to help the other mom's find our house. When the girls came in the door my daughter gave them each a plastic bead necklace - I got
them 6 for $2 at Walmart. We let them play with the karaoke machine while we waited for all the girls to arrive. For the 1st activity the girls painted their nails & put on to much make
up & body glitter :) Next we made purses from pink paper plates. Give each girl 2 plates, cut about 2in off the tops to make a flat edge, have them decorate the plates with stickers,
glitter, markers, whatever you can find. Push the plates wrong side out & place them plain sides together. Staple the edges together, punch a hole on each end of the flat edge, tie ribbon
in both holes to make a strap. TaDa...it's a purse & a treat bag. Next we did the pinata, it was shaped like a purse & filled with candy, tattoos, make up, sticker, etc. Because they
had made the purses before hand they were able to put their loot in them. Next it was back inside for ice cream & cake, a bratz themed one I got at the grocery store bakery. To decorate
the table I tossed confetti all over it & curly ribbon strips. Inside their drink cups I put a napkin & fork (easier then passing them out or the girls trying to figure out whos was
whos, also looks realy cute) & a ring pop. I gave a prize to the 2 girls that had a certain colored ring pop in their cup. We also served chocolate covered strawberries & strawberry
lemonade with lemon slices & strawberries in it. Finally it was time to open presents, the girls all played with everything for a while & then went outside to play to wait for their
parents. The girls all had a great time, great enough that they broke the microphone to the karaoke machine! I used Bratz clip art to print out invitations & thank you notes.
