Bug party for 4yr old Girl I made party hats with construction paper in the shape of different bugs. I used pom-poms and pipe cleaners for antenna. Each kid was a certain bug and had a hat and a wand that I made with fun foam in the shape of bugs and attached to dowels with curling ribbon on the end for wands. we had a dragonfly, bee, spider, butterfly, ladybug and caterpillar. For treats I made spider pops (Dum-dums with brown pipe cleaners attached to look like spider legs .)we had a bug hunt for an activity. I bought small pieces of candy and taped ladybugs and butterflies onto the tops (I just made them out of construction. paper and pens for details)Each kid had a bug net that they used for the hunt and went around searching for bugs that were hidden in the plants, bookshelves, etc. I made the nets with short dowels and tulle formed into a net. The cake was a ladybug baked in a mixing bowel.  I had several different foam stamps with bug shapes and each child/mother got to decorate an apron to take home.
