For our "Butterfly" Birthday, we had the usual butterfly shaped cake, but for the ice cream....
we bought vanilla 1/2 gallons. Simply remove the packaging, leaving the ice cream in a block. Cut into slices with a knife and use a butterfly shaped cookie cutter to make butterfly shaped ice creams, decorated with festive sprinkles. Put the butterflies on a baking sheet with wax paper in-between layers and put back into the freezer until party time. The girls LOVED it !!
