My good friend Bailey just had her 12th birthday party! Her theme was I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream! Since her birthday is in the summer we have a campout at her house every year in a tent. Bailey and her mom decided to have their party on a Friday,(because some people have church on Sunday)Bailey invited 5 people plus herself makes 6, and everyone showed up at 6:00. Instead of a tent this year we slept in her friend's pop-up, but a tent will work too. Once all six of us had our sleeping bags set out, Bailey decided to open her gifts first (she was eager to open them). After opening her gifts we all went out of the pop-up and rosted hotdogs by the fire, ate chips and dip, strawberries with chocolate cool whip, and ate little chocolate ice cream shaped candies, we all decided to get in the pool. We played games in the pool like you would in any pool. Then Bailey's mom came out and asked if we wanted to play games, we did ofcourse! The first game was called I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream. Everyone lined up in line while Bailey's mom explained the rules: Everyone had to scream their favorite ice cream topping as loud and clear as possible,one at a time, a couple houses down was one of Bailey's moms friends and she would tell us which one is the loudest and clearest, that person would be the winner. Bailey won and her friend Sidney was tied with me for 2nd. That game was really fun and the neighbors didnt seem to mind.After that we played another game and the six of us split into teams while Bailey's mom explained the rules: everyone started at one cone with a bouncey ball and an ice cream cone. when she said go one person would race down to another cone with the ice cream cone in their hand and the ball on top, if you dropped the ball you had to stop pick up the ball and go again. Once you've reached the cone that youre racing toward, you put the ice cream cone in your mouth with the ball on top and race back where you started. the first team to have all of their players done would win! Everyone loved the games they were alot of fun. When we were done with the games Bailey's mom set out ice cream and toppings. So instead of cake we had ice cream sundays! There was chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate cookie cruch, caramel, chocolate syrup, pineapple, whipped cream, nuts, and ofcourse...CHERRIES!!! The winners from the screaming contest went first. Once we were done eating we went night swimming. We all saw a bunch of shooting stars! Then we all got a little tired and got out, wrapped up in our towels, dried of, and then danced to music! All of us girls got dressed in our pajamas, popped some popcorn, went in the pop-up, and ate popcorn and talked all night! In the morning we ate doghnuts and some more people went swimming. Bailey's mom came out and said for everyone to pick a prize out of the bowl with their eyes closed (to reduce fighting) everyone liked their prizes (a small picture frame, a little purse, 2 things of mints, and little things that you put in water that fizz)everyone also reseved little ice  cream cones that you put in water that fizz. Everyones parents showed up at 10:30; we all had a great time! INVITATIONS: Bailey took construstion paper and rolled it up to look like and ice cream cone. then she took a pip cleaner and put it around the rim of the top of the ice cream cone. then she blew up little balloons of the same color of the pipe cleaners and stuck it in the top of the the ice cream cone. then it looked like ice cream! Then on little lavender pieces of paper she wrote I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream! Below that it said What:Bailey's Ice-Cream Social Sleepover! When:6:00p.m.-10:30a.m. Friday the 10th Bring:Swim Suit, Sleeping Bag, & Over Night Bag! Why: Bailey's Birthday Party! (Dinner & Breakfast will be served) in the corners of the paper were little ice cream cones she painted on. Bailey used a hole puncher and punch a hole in the paper and linked it with the pipe cleaner so ther paper hung on the ice cream cone! They were very neat! DECORATIONS: for the decorations Bailey used chalk to write one the ground. she made a sign that said baileys birthday party! girls only! She also drew ice cream cones on the concrete. In the pop-up there were balloons everywhere! In the barn/garage the disco ball was on, and on the porch there was a table with a table cloth with ice cream cones printed all over it. sitting in a row in the middle of the table were ice cream cups with cotton balls inside that looked like ice cream. The party was great i recommend it to anyone! We had a blast!
