I go a bit overboard for Bday parties and this one was NO exception. My daughters 4th Birthday Candy Shoppe and Wonky Water Land. Invites: I bought mini plastic Chinese to go boxes from
Michaels. I filled them with Double Bubble Gum (colored gum balls and about 2 or 3 pieces of wrapped kind). I then made mini invites, hole punched them and attached them with cute ribbon. It
read: Candy, Gumballs, and Goodies Galore..a Special Celebration we have in store..Its going to get Sticky..and Sure to be Sweet..and we will amke sure to take care of that pesky heat! Please
join us for (Name 4th Birhtday)..Date..time..location etc..added a small note at the bottom to make sure the kids brought their bathing suits. Decor: I made, what I called, Yard Lollies..Two
(colored) plates hot glued together dome side out..attched to a LONG Stick bought from Michaels. I then covered them in colored Cellophane and did ribbon to keep Cellophane on. ADORABLE..I
made 8 and put them in the front yard. I also found colored polka dotted pinwheels I put in the yard. I made Lantern Candy". These were colored lanterns (round) covered with CLEAR
cellophane and ribbon on each side to make the lantern look like a wrapped piece of candy. These were used threw out the party. I ordered and made my own tissue puffs. These were used threw
out the party. I bought a balloon strip (to make and arch bought at Party City) and attached 20 (10 of 2 diff colors in the middle) and other colors 10 of each on either end. This was suppose
to be used as an arch but ended up being used in between our two pillars on our front porch bc it was a bit windy. I bought solid AND polka dotted table clothes. I made foam circle
"curtains". I took foam circle and hole punched top and bottom..threaded curling ribbon..did this with 6..5 and 4 circles to make different sized strings..these were used in the
arch in our house. I had signs made for each "area". I had stickers made for the CANDY SHOPPE table (explain later). I had two banners made with her name Candy Shoppe for the
present area and one that just said Candy Shoppe for the table. I had fold over labels made with the name of each candy on the table. The cake was a gumball machine cake..SUPER EASY and
Adorable. My mother found the link online and made it. Activities: First we started in "Gum Drop Game Stop" There was a garment moving box that I decorated with candy bullitan board
boarder with a sign that said..show us your sweet tooth. PERFECT size for the little ones with a step stool and we took a pic of each kid int he "photo booth". We then did a balloon
relay. We had balloons with gum inside and the kids popped the balloon ...chewed and tagged the next person in line. We then went over to the Lolli Pop pinata. This was filled with a roll of
yellow tickets that were all separated. I had 4 pink tickets made that said PRIZE. I then had one yellow ticket made that said GOLDEN TICKET that I decorated with glitter. When the pinata
broke tickets went everywhere and the kids went looking for the tickets. They got water toys for the tickets. We then went over to a "Candy Kabob" table. We had ALL chewy
candy..gummy bears..worms..etc..Bc the skewers were sharp we had the kids pick out their candy and made it for them. Each enjoyed their candy and we moved on to "Wonky Water Park"
We first stopped at "Umpa Water" These were cute spray bottles with different colored pray tops I bought from the dollar store. I had their names cute from Vinyal and my husband put
them on. Each kid got theirs and had fun using it to spray each other though out the party. We them went to have a "Gum Ball Fight" This was just water balloons filled up..kids
loved it. Last was the kids enjoying the big water slide we rented. We had a small pool (old school one with the slide in it) to use for the toddlers). We stopped and ate Hot Dogs (we rented
a hot dog rotisserie cooker)..kids played some more..then we stopped and everyone had snocones (rented a SnoCone machine) We made out own SnoCone juice..My mother had done it before so she
was able to make it easy...lots of koolaid and sugar..We used the bathroom cups and kids were able to have as many as they water. LOVED IT!!! At the end each child came inside and i gave them
a polka dot goodie bag I FILLED!. Candy was bought and put in different clear vases. I put ribbon around the vases and kept the ribbon on with the stickers I had made. I had about 8 or so
different candys. I also had cupcake favor boxes. Small boxes with cute labels matching the theme and ribbon. Inside was a small packet of cupcake mix with directions. This was one per
family. My aunt brought wrapped mini key chain gumball machines that my daughter also gave her guest. Have fun...get creative and get STICKY!! ;)"
