CARE BEARS 5th Birthday PARTY For my daughter's fifth birthday, we made a care bears party. The invitations read "BYOB," Be Your Own Bear. Each child was given a t shirt and a
white circle. They could decorate the circles with fabric pens to create their own care bear shirt. They put on their shirts. The circles were ironed onto the shirts by an adult. The circles
were made by affixing iron-on material to white cotton. The children played "musical clouds," I pasted clouds on the floor and played a version of musical chairs. One child called
out a number and if a child was on the cloud with thatnumber, they would not be in the next round. We played pin the nose on the bear, which I made by making an enlarged copy of a bear. We
also had a treasure hunt where we looked for cards that had care bear pictures on them. These were reedemable for prizes. Of course we had care bear plates, cups and cake. Goodie bags were
made by pasting care bear poems on brown bags. Everyone loved the shirts and had a great time.
