We are planning a care bear party for my daughters 4th birthday. I found care bear clip art and made the invitations. We are planning to decorate with rainbow streamers and heart and star shaped balloons. I found care bear tablecloths at the party store and goody bags. We are using a rainbow piniata filled with candy to fill the goody bags. I have planned a Care-a-Lot obstacle course in our back yard. We'll start by crawling through the clouds(white pillows and blankets) jumping from heart to heart (red hearts cut out of posterboard) swinging from the stars (Stars above the swings on our swingset) sliding down a rainbow ( rainbow colors on our slide) and finishing at the castle (turning our playhouse into the care bear castle). We are also going to play pin the sunshine on Funshine bear whick I drew on posterboard and cut out little suns.  My daughter wants to decorate their own cupcakes so we'll use pink icing and rainbow sprinkles and let them decorate plain cupcakes into thier own little treasure snacks. Also I found some thin care bear fabric at wal-mart that I'm going to use to make all the girls care bear bandanas for the girls hair which my daughter loves to wear. We'll take a group picture with them wearing matching bandanas in their hair. While my daughter opens presents I have the child who gave the gift sit next to her with her bandana on and take a picture of the 2 girls which makes a cute thank-you card to send out later.
