Thanks to this web I got a lot of idea for my 4yr old daughter party. I did the invitation by making a ticket booth ( I got this idea from martha stewart web), cut a u shape paper for the base
of the booth and a rectangular paper for the top of the booth. For the top of the booth I stick one end with the glue and the other end just hanging unglued but lifted by 2 small rolled paper
to gift some height. Stick a little clothes pin and real ticket in the u shape. Everybody thinks it so cute. Since my daughter is in preschool 3 times a week only and I don't really know all
her other friends mom I was thinking I have to make the invitation stand out so they will notice and not thinking it's just another invitation".
For the ticket booth I couldn't get any refrigerator box anywhere so what I did is to use 2 yards of fabric cut a rectangular in the middle right at my daughter face height cut a little bit over on each corner and fold it to all 4 sides and just glue them. I used a lot of fabric glue. for the top I used fabric with different color and glued them along the top of the first fabric. On the other end of the top fabric I made 4 ruffles by sewing starting in the middle of the fabric and than just tie the rest of the bottom part up. I put bow on each of the ruffle. Than I stapple the left and right of the whole fabric to two wood pole and hammeredit a little bit to the grass. I took each kids pic through the rectangular cut and send it for a thank you card later. I did all the other booth with fabric and ruffle top just like the ticket booth but I didn't cut any hole. And I just fold a little bit on the top and the bottom of the fabric so a rope can go through it and just hang all of the 6 fabric together with one rope on the top and one rope in the bottom. I put a banner on each fabric to name the game. Tie a lot of ballon between the fabric. The color I choose green shocking pink and gold yellow. I chose those color coz of my daughter cake. It's a cupcake with tinkerbell theme I'm thinking this is the age that she's into those character why take it from here so I incorporated the carnival and tinkerbell theme. We had the tinkerbll pinata with the pulling strings because we figure most of the children will be girls so we tried to make it less harsh :). The food just regular hotdog pizza popcorn nachos and cheese apple caramel. The hotdog we put it in an aluminium foil cut rectangular and just fold all 4 of the sides so it will stay warm since we had it in late feb and the weather is still cold. I invited about 21 kids and we ended up about 16 kids age around 4-6years plus 4 babies. Just fyi invite more kids for a carnival party coz the more the merier and to avoid being bummed by "unexpected cannot come kids". Everybody said they had so much fun and just fyi too the most popular for this age is the fishing game ducks in the pond with number of ticket you'll win on each of them and put paper clip around each duck with one end hanging down so the kids can fish it by putting a key ring attached to the fishing pole inside the paperclip. We tested drive it the night before with our daughter to make sure a 4 yr old can do it. For the prizes I put 3 different boxes first boxes for 1 ticket prizes second for 2 ticket prizes and so on. I put bubble gum machine from my daughter and put some coind in a cup so the kids can get the bubble gum by change 1 ticket for the coin. I stick lollypops in a foam so they stand up just like in a candy store exchange 2 tickets for each lollypop. All and all it was a very fun party oh yeah I forget to mention the bounce house we rent. Even my husband who's so afraid to have a big party think it's sooooo much fun. Thank you to all the moms here in this page that have given a lot of ideas. "
