For my son's first birthday, we had an elvis party. After all, he was born in memphis and on the same date elvis died. let's face it, the first birthday party is really for the adults. I was
dressed as pricilla, of course and my husband was the king, humself.
I made stick-on sideburns for all the guests and handed out big gold sunglasses and leis. all the girls got rhinestone glasses. We had a "shoot out the tv" contest with a gun that shot suction darts, and a "pin the sideburns on Elvis" game (a poster was used). we served fried peanut-butter and banana sandwiches, root beer floats, blue hawaiians and blue suede shoe cake. Elvis cd's supplied the music and everyone had a blast!
