For my daughters 3rd birthday we have decided to do a Big Comfy Couch theme. We are renting a tent and are decorating it with balloons on the outside but once the children go into the tent there will be a jumbo size couch with pillows and a white doily on the back of it.  My daughter has a costume to dress as loonette and we even are making her a molly doll.  I am dressing as Auntie Macasar, my mother is dressing as grandma garbanzo and we have even renamed our cat snicklefritz for the day.  We have asked the parents to bring there favorite clown(children)to miss loonettes dance academy. Which is a piece of ply board with strobe lights in one corner of the tent so they can dance to different children songs. Then in the other corner from the couch we have the big clock rug that they can play on.  We have a trunk full of dress-up things they can play with also. Since I know how to make balloon animals I will be making them for our little clowns and sending them home as party favors.  The cake we will have is being specially made into a 3-D cake of the big comfy couch including the dust bunnies underneath. We are looking forward to this wonderful advent.
