Chinese Birthday Party - Little Girls My daughter's birthday is near the Chinese New Year and she loves Chinese food; this year on her 9th birthday we decided to do something a little different. Invitations - Giant Fortune Cookies with the invitation inside, delivered to recipients in Chinese Food Take-out containers asking them to wear their finest Chinese clothes Decorations - Chinese Paper lanterns and mini umbrellas; Origami cranes; Miniature fish bowls with floating flowers and brightly colored rocks one gold fish in each bowl and tea lights. Each girl got to take one home. Activities - Origami; Decorating Chopstix with beads-then fixing all of the girls hair into a bun and putting the chopstix in them.  Karaoke Took all the girls to a Chinese restaurant after fixing up their hair. Cake - Decorated with mini umbrellas and fortune cookies Party favors - Chinese jump ropes, Chinese jacks, fans, and Chinese candy
