My Daughter really wanted a cinderella party for her 4th birthday. As the children arrived I had a tablecloth(fabric by the yard)set up with material I purchased at Wal-mart that was Princess material. It was all the Princeses outlined so I put out washable markers and the girls could color the pictures in while we were waiting for all the guest to arrive. I also purchased other fabrics and posters to hang up everywhere for the decorations.I painted a large mural of Cinderella's castle on white poster paper as decoration. The girls were asked to come dressed up as their favorite princess, as they all did. I purchased an Adult Cinderella costume which was a little tricky to find in the month of Febuary and had my oldest Daughter( age 16)be Cinderella for the party (wig and all)She entertained the girls for awhile and we took individual pictures of each girl and my oldestDaughter as Cinderella in front of the painted castle. Then we took a group picture of all the girls in front of the castle. These pictures were used in each girls thank-you notes and the girls and moms loved having the pictures. We served star sandwiches (a star cookie cutter was used) and pink punch.I made a Cinderella doll cake.I used the large measuring mixing bowl from pampered chef as the base of Cinderella's dress. Directions enclosed with bowl. and I purchased a blonde hair cake topper doll. I fixed her hair and put black ribbon around her neck and she looked just like Cinderella. One of our crafts were to make Cinderella's magic wands with beads put onto pipe cleaners,two different ones looped opposite ways attached to a plastic base. Adult help on the last part. The girls had a blast using their hand made wands. Treat bags were hand made buy purchasing blue bags at Michaels and I cut out Valentine Cinderella's and glued onto bags and hand wrote each childs name on it. Princess Cassie's. I filled the bags with Cinderella items purchesed at the Disney store that I was lucky enough to find at 75% off. I also purchased plastic drinking cups with a princess theme on them and I put each girls name on them with a marker that works on plastic. They also got to take that home too and ends the frustration on whos cup is whos. My Daughter still talks about her Cinderella party.
