We had a Cinderella Birthday Party for My Daughter who was turning 5 years old.
When each guest arrived I gave the Parents a Party Plan. This way they knew what they would have to do to help out. I sent the Boy's with the Dad's and they started by making there crowns, King Flags, and shields. I pre cut these out of poster board and skewers for the flag sticks. As each girl arrived I put one of my husbands old junk t-shirts on them and I had bought some $1.00 material at walmart and made aprons for them. I work in a deli so I got them eack a hair net to wear and they got a home made feather duster.(feathers glued to a skewer stick) I was dressed as a wicked step mother and told them to get cleaning.(they loved this) As they were cleaning the boys snuck over and knocked on the door and run. All of us girls went to answer the door and found nothing but a bunch of invitations to the ball. After this the boys went back to play prince games like blocking the bean bags with there shields and pin the fire on the draggon ( I made this with poster board). While the boys did this the girls prepared for the ball. On the actual Birthday Party invitations I asked for all of the girls to be dressed in dresses. We took the t-shirts off and made our crowns, and wands and all the moms helped get the girls looking nice again. O No we just realized, we don't have a ride to the ball. I was dressed like a godmother now and I asked the girls to go and get some mice(played find the mice, mice I made on the computer) and then I asked for some pumpkins (same thing) and all of the moms got in a circle and we made my daughters flinstone like car into a carriage. Each girl got a ride to the ball. Once they got to the ball they danced until the boys arrived. The boys came in with a flower and a neclace for the girls. They danced for a while and when the clock struck 12:00 The girls took off one shoe and ran away. They then got dressed back into rags and cleaned. The boys took each shoe and filled it with a favor bag and called for the girls to come back. When the girls and turned back into princesses they came back they got fit for the right shoe and turned back into princesses and the boys gave them a neclace and the girls gave the boys a Prince Sash and a thank you bag. They then danced until they ate a t the table set for a king and queen and then we had desert. They drank out of plastic whine glasses. When My daughter opened her gifts she sat in a chair that was made into a thrown with another one sitting next to her for the gift giver to st in. I took a picture and that is what we used for thank you cards. It was alot of fun. We had a home made castle cake. The only problem was it was a very long party, made mom real tired,LOL.
