Cinderella Party
I got so many calls on these invitations: I got a plastic corsage box from the florists.(20.cents) Put shredded easter type silver paper in the bottom then one "glass slipper" (girls dress up shoe from the $ store $1.oo a pair), then rolled the invitation up with a silver ribbon and put it in the shoe then closed the whole thing up. They were really beautiful. The Invitation read: Here Ye Here Ye one and all, please bring this glass slipper back to Ally's Birthday Ball.Cinderella has lost her glass shoe, can you find it's mate ? and your Prince Charming too?. You see my 4 yr old wanted to invite boys too, so the boys got the matching shoe from one of the girls. So you have to invite an even number of boys and girls. When the girls arrived they were given their feather dusters and the boys were taken to my sons room where they put on $store crowns and capes and with shoe in hand presided to the playhouses in the back yard to find their princess'. Once the found their "mates" the girls got dressed for the ball in my daughters dress up clothes. For a craft we decorated those long pointy princess hats (which I made prior out of poster board) and the boys decorate Shields (made from the same poster board. We also played musical chairs (very ball like). Goodies bags: the girls got to take home the pair of shoes, the hats, some gold coins and a glass slipper (which was actually a Christmas ornament I got for 80% off after xmas ). The boys now had their crowns, shields a sword, gold coins and some candies. It was great !!! But the invitations REALLY set the tone
