Cinderella's Country Retreat I sent out castle shaped invitations-You are invited to Cinderella's country estate in honor of ____ 4th bday. ...Please come dressed in rags. As the girls arrived they were handed a feather duster and cleaned to Disney Princess music. I had 10 dresses already made over each chair in the kitchen. I made the dresses from white sweater tanks with silver thread and attached long skirts I made from silver lamme(sp?) topped white tooling with silver dots. I had boxes of ribbons, flowers, jewels, etc and head bands and several glue guns (for moms) and glue for girls. They had a wonderful time decorating their gowns. (I think the moms had the best time) They put their gowns on and we danced to disney music and looked at ourselves in the mirror. We played Pin the Crown on Cinderella and searched for her missing slipper outside. We had pictures taken outside on a large wooden swing for 4 which I decorated with leftover fabric, ribbon, vines and azaleas. We came in and had ginger ale in little champage glasses(dollar store) that were decorated with Jewels. I used a gold pen to write each girl name ..Princes_____. We ate wedding cake. Two tiered with columns and all. I used leftover flowers and fabric around the cakes. Goody bags had necklaces, rings, lipstick, ringpops and stickers. I made the thank you notes with "Print shop" in brochure form with digital pics I had take of each girl. We had a great time.
