Cinderella Birthday Party The birthday girl is dressed as Cinderella. The invitation is made like a scroll, "Here ye, here ye, you are cordially invited to attend the Ball."
They were told to come dressed for the Ball with mom's old cast aways. They looked adorable.
Bell Horns were made out of used tubes from wrapping paper and cardboard to make the bell part of the horn and then covered with beautiful wrapping paper and had streamers made from streamer paper which was twisted into droplets. We were dressed as Court Jesters and had little prank jokes and magic to amuse the children. The Court Jester Stick was used to announce each guest as Lady Victoria of (last name of child). As each guest was announced they had to pass under the court jester stick and the children blew into their horns. What a racket!!!!! We had a parade after that with the Court Jester in the front like the Pied Piper and confetti thrown all about for the parade around the house. We then played pass the court jester stick where whomever had the stick had to come into the middle of the circle and dance in the circle with music and pass it to someone outside the circle. WE had a castle cake with Cinderella's coach and horses. In addition to the horns, we also made hats from bright pink oaktag and put cotton around the edges and bought jewels to glue around and then pink tuilling was added to the top of the hat to resemble the hats from the Cinderella story for the ball. This party is still the talk of all the kids who attended. (They're 18 now).
