Circus Party. For my sons 1st birthday we are having a circus party.
The party consists of renting a large white tent that we are putting small flags around the top edge (the type you find usually around open house signs), renting a popcorn machine, a cotton candy machine and then serving your usual circus type foods: hot dogs, peanuts, chips, animal crackers and snow cones. For entertainment we are having a clown who makes balloon animals, a face painter and renting a "clown" moon walk. Also, the part my 4 year old son likes best is we are having small cars and motorcycles there for the kids to drive around on the property, kind of like you see clowns ride around in at the circus. For favors we are giving out red noses, those paddle boards with a ball stuck to them and pez clown dispensers and plastic animals.
