PURPLE PASSION PARTY- For my daughter, who loves purple, we had a purple passion party-complete with purple hats, socks, and jewelry! We purchases plain purple paper goods and hats
at the dollar store and lots of purple streamers and balloons. For invitations, we used purple crayon shpaed paper. For favors, I tie dyed white socks for the girls to wear.
They LOVED THIS! It sure beat the plastic toys that lay around the house! We decorated cupcakes with light or dark purple icing and served muchies in purple bowls. For a craft activity, we used purple (and other colors) to paint pictures on large sheets of paper. We also strung necklaces togehter, with a big purple heart or star for the center bead. The girls got purple baggies with purple hard candies for prizes. Everyone won as we played games liek pass the purple crayon (two teams, girls on one team close eyes, girls on other team pass crayon, when music stops, they hide it behind their backs, and team with closed eyes has to guess who has crayon). We also played what's different? (one girls stands infront of group, we look at her for one minute, then she goes into another room, changes one thing about herself-takes off a shoe, folds up a pnatleg, removes or puts something on- and goes back in front of group for them to guess what is different. It is a simple concept for a party and can be built up or simplified to meet needs and age group of girls!
