For my daughters 3rd birthday she wanted a "Pink Party", so we made cute hand made invited on pink card stock and told all the little girls to wear pink, for a Pink Tea Party. We
decked out the whole house with pink crate paper, balloons and ribbon. I set up my coffee table for a tea party complete with pink frilly table cloths, flowers, and a tea set. I bought craft
wooden dowels and hot glued pink ribbon and toille to make dancing ribbons. When the girls arrived they decorated crowns with craft jewels, and were invited to paint their nails (pink of
course). Then we turned on music and danced with are dancing sticks. The first game we played was "Pin the crown on Barbie" I bough a poster of Barbie Rabunzel and used a paper
crown. The next game we played was "Pass the Purse" We used a Pink purse stuffed with little party favor toys wrapped up. I played music and when the music stopped, that little girl
pulls out a present and so on until every little girl gets a turn. Then they were invited to pick dress up clothes from a trunk and get ready for a fancy tea party. I made flower shaped
PB&J sandwiches, cheeto's, and we served cherry 7UP in the tea pots. They passed the dishes and were very formal with please and thank yous. For the cake I made one of those Barbie doll
cakes that you bake in a bowl.We frosted the dress pink and hot glued flowers in her hair. For the goody bags I made princess wands with more wooden craft rods, pink craft foam cut in a
heart, and more pink ribbon. I painted their names on them and put them in pink bags along with pink candy, pink nail polish, pink chapstick, stickers, and dress up jewelry. It was a huge
success and the parents had fun too!
