For my son's 5th birthday, I came up with the idea of having a color-themed party. His absolute favorite color in the world is green, so of course green was the theme! I designed his
invitations on the computer with all green animals and different shades of green lettering. I also designed a candy-bar wrapper to match his invitations to be given out as thank-yous at the
party. For the party, I used all green decorations and paper goods. He had a green piņata and a green caterpillar cake done in different shades of green. For the goodie bags, I bought green
animal water puppets, turtles and gators, in 3 shades of green. I also bought the small bottles of bubbles in the see through containers (wedding bubbles) and tinted them green and put green
frog stickers on the bottles. A green balloon and a couple of pieces of green candies (picked out in the section where you buy the candy by the pound) completed the bags. I placed all the
goodies in clear cellophane bags so the green could be seen. The party was a big hit with my son as well as everyone else at the party!
