I just located your website and not sure if this idea is already described.  I am sorry if that is the case.  I haven't had time to browse your site yet, but looking forward to it. What I did was planned a pizza party at home.  Having a pizza party at a pizza parlor is expensive and doesn't work too well for our budget. I started out with creating an ivitation that looked like a menu. At the top I wrote "Come to Zane's Famous Pizza Parlor" and then went from there with restraunt lingo...I put an actual menu of what the kiddos would eat: "You make it...we bake it pizza" veggie stix, beverages, and "you decorate it cake"...I then put that reservations were neccessary...because seating was limited.  When party day was here I took the dinning room table and covered it with butcher paper, made paper placemats with pictures of a hand drawn pizza to color in. Crayons were dispersed around the table. I tossed around children's and adult menus that I created on the computer. We got three balloons for a center piece (the colors for the party were red and white). On the front door I posted a sign "Zane's Famous Pizza Parlor"...come on in.   When kids arrived I had premade pizza dough (in my bread machine) and had cut up toppings.  Everyone got a homemade chefs hat (white paper stapled in a tube on their heads) Then each child rolled out their own mini pizza, painted on pizza sauce (pastry brush) and choose their own toppings. As we baked them up the kids played on our jungle gym and slide(the kind that people have outside usually...we brought ours inside)...we titled that the "Fun Zone" like many pizza parlors have. I also labled other rooms such as the restroom, telphone, employees only (our garage) and kitchen (the adults got a kick out of that). When it was time to eat I delivered each pizza to the corresponding child. They had milk and veggie stix with ranch dressing.  To finish off the meal I prepared cupcakes...put cool whip on them and gave each child a small dish of miniature mm's, jelly bellys, fruities, and had the children decorate their own cakes. Then each child got their own check. For the adults which attended (which there were many), I prepared a big crock pot of potato corn chowder, homemade rolls, and another crock pot of hot apple cider.  After we all ate we showed a Scholastic (my husband is a first grade teacher) DVD of "Pete's a Pizza."  The kids loved it so much we played it twice (it is about ten minutes long). Each child got to take home a balloon and was home in time for nap (the ages ranged from 2 to 4). Clean up was easy and we got great video footage and photos of the whole thing. I think our cost was below fifteen dollars (I can break it down if you like). because some of the things we already had (such as the DVD). I am sure that this is not written with the best of eleoquence or spelling. I have two sick kiddos right now that are needing my attention.  I hope this makes sense to you. I had so much fun with this party.  If you have any questions please feel free to email and ask.
