Indians and Cowboys: My specialty is kids birthday, I love crafts and I think that doing this is the better way to put in practice all my creativity. This year the theme for my 3 year old son birthday was indians and cowboys. In the backyard of my father beach house I recreated with cardboard and paint a small town, it has a little shop, hotel, bar,and a jail. Also we made with wood a cart with a toy horse, so the kids could play in it. It really looked like a small old west town like the movies. My family helped me to recreatd a small indian village with the houses, a bonfire, a river and a canoe. All the things were made so the children could play in them and they loved it. For the invitations I scanned  a picture of my son dressed as a cowboy that I took in Christmas, I just put in the center of the paper his face and then I wrote Most Wanted and all the information for the birthday. Then I burned the edges so it look old. Everybody love it and had to say something about it. I made myself a piņata a cowboy boot and was a fnny thing to do. For the cake, I bought a normal rectangular cake in Sam's Club, I requested that they painted it with a river in the middle, a side simulating sand and the other simulating grass. In that way I could also recreate in the cake the town and the village. For goodies, each kid had small paper bags moored with a rope; inside it had: candies, toy coins, water guns, bublegum coins, bubbles, toy snakes, indians and cowboys toys, among other things. Each kid had too a big paper bag, inside it had: for the boys - cowboy hats, sheriff batchs and a bandanna, for the girls - indian custom with the feather for the head, a bracelet and a flute, so the children dressed as cowboys and indians. My cousin dressed as an indian chief, so the kids parents took pictures of their childrens with the indian. I served chili and rice and other things and a played western music. I planned a lot of games, of course relationated with the theme, but I could not do none because the children were more excited with the surprise that I took to them. I rent 2 real horses, so they could give a ride in them. That was incredible, the children became crazy with the horses, for that reason I did not have necessity to make the games. Finally, the birthday was a totally succes and the best of all is that I feel proud of myself because all was handmade. The previous weekend I reunited aunts, cousins, friends, etc., so that they helped me with all the preparations. The truth is that was wonderful because not only we had fun togethe, including my son, we also shared as a family and that is quality of time.
