My son loves the Crocodile Hunter so for his 8th birthday this was the theme.
I made his invites on the computer. The cover was a color copy of the crocodile hunter swinging in on a vine with a croc under his arm. It read "Guess what mate? Reid's turning...". When you opened the invite it had a pop up 8, snakes and crocs. I wrote a poem inviting his guests and had them RSVP to Reid's Mum. We decorated the front door with vines, snakes, lizards, frogs and camping gear. His cake was chocolate with frog candles. The table was draped in camouflage fabric with frog confetti, snakes, lizards and more frogs tossed around. The entertainment was a local critter show complete with snakes, lizards, bugs, etc.. Each boy went home with an inexpensive bug box filed with candy, plastic frogs, lizards and snakes and stickers. Thank you notes included a picture of each child holding a critter or with a snake draped around their neck.
