For my daughters' 7th and 9th birtday parties, we decided to have a Cupcake Party". We actually purchased the invites at Target that were decorated with cupcakes of course flat and 3 dimensial.  For gift bags I found adorable bags at the dollar store shaped like cupcakes that came 2 per pack.  I also found cupcake pencils and ersers at Walmart and Oriental trading has little trinket type boxes (7.95) per dozen I believe.  I am doing all the tableware in brown and pink and making "fake" cupcakes out of stryfoam put in a cupcake liner then put a 2 1/2" styrafoam ball paint it brown or whatever you choose and I'm using a pink pom pom ball for the "cherry" on top you could use glitter and be very creative.  These will be my centerpieces. I also found those cheap wooden ornaments that kids can decorate themelves at Joanne Fabric's for around .50 that are cupcakes. We're going to play pin the cherry on the cupcake and enjoy a day of lots of fun!!"
