My husband grew up reading Curious George. For my son's first birthday I am planning on having a Curious George theme.  To cut down on costs, I am buying red and yellow cups, napkins, plates, etc. rather than purchasing expensive character paper products. I am decorating with homemade posters of George.  I will do this by making a transparency of the illustrations from books.  Then I will project the image by a projector onto large posterboard, trace and color. I will use red and yellow balloons to decorate with. For the favors I am purchasing Curious George board books. I am also hiring a "monkey" to come in to read Curious George books to the children.
