My son turned two years old in Novemeber. I had seen all different kinds of party decorations, but Curious George just stole my heart, and his too. For his party decorations we had:
Curious George plates and napkins mixed with solid yellow to cut costs. Then I had yellow, red, and blue plastic silverware arranged in a tin bucket. Over the food table I bought a Ballon
Archway.( It is nothing but bendable PVC pipe stuck together to make a archway. We bought a cheap helium tank that would blow up approx. 100 ballons to tie on it. We used the colors red,
blue, yellow, and green. My living room ceiling was rolled in streamer to make it look like a circus tent. The colors again were yellow, red, blue, and green. I had mulitple banners and
ballons tied everywhere outside my house to let guests know that the party was here! We purchased a CG pinata and filled it with Runts, Gummies, and Skittles. The kids had a big time with
that! For the foods we had Jungle Mix" mini sandwhichs shaped like bananas( cut out with a cookie cutter) fruit tray veggie tray chips and dip and cake. I bought a cupcake stand that has
3 levels on it. On the bottom and top level I put cupcakes that I purchased that were rainbow colored in red yellow blue green. Then on the middle layer was his cake. It was shaped like a top
hat and was red and yellow with blue stars on it. The inside layers of the cake were checker board in red and cream. It had CG balancing on a ball and my message to Jerimiah on top. For party
favors I made treat bags for the kids containing: Animal cookies pencils animal parachutes CG coloring page and candy. On the outside of the bag I tied a paper saying thanks for coming to
Jerimiah's birthday. I printed the template off line. Then for the adults I made Banana Bread and put it in the CG printed bags also. The party was a hit! The adults even complimeted on
it!"
