Ballerina recital party. We made invitations out of Pink satin fabric and White Ribbon...sewn up like a pair of Ballerina slippers. The girls were instructed to wear leotards and tights to the
party. Parents were asked to come 15 minutes before the party was to end, in order to attend their daughters Ballet recital. We held this party in a community room because our Apartment was
too small for so many dancing, twirling, leaping young ballerinas. We rented a helium tank that filled about 100 large, pearlized pink and white balloons. We tied them with ribbon that hung
down just above heads. This effect is so grand, it is easily the only decorations needed. As the girls arrive they are fitted with homemade TuTu's and Head band Halo's. These are also
party favors that the girls get to take home. To make real TuTu's for around a dollar a piece, just gather pink netting and sew a strip of lace around the waist, tie in back. To make Halo's:
Use wire Garland (red heart valentine themed). Form a circle and secure. Tie several long pieces of ribbon and curl. The table is set with pink tablecloth, plates and napkins. Use white
doilies as coasters and plastic whine goblets to serve the gorgeous drinks. One small scoop of ice-cream and some red colored soda pop foams up..so pretty and delicious. Puffy painted
name cards and tissue created flower centerpieces make the girls feel like the bell of the ball. Find Ballet music and have the girls practice a dance before the parents come for a
recital..play a short ballet dance movie on the big screen tv.. Girls will never forget this very special party!
