I just recently had a birthday party for my 9 year old daughter. I asked her and her friends what they would really enjoy doing and they all wanted a disco party. I had a garage that worked
out well for this event. I first used cheap tin foil to cover the walls to make a shiny effect, then I used my Christmas lights and strung them over the walls and on the ceiling, I had some
lights that blinked making it really shine off the tin foil. I had a disco dance ball that I hung and I made lots of flower power and peace signs to hang all over the walls. I also used black
lights for a glow in the dark effect at night. The party was a hit, I had 15 girls sleepover, and they had a talent show with a karaoke machine, and I picked up glow in the dark party favors
for them to use for the dance party, they told ghost stories with the black lights on later on in the evening and had a blast. I had some 70's CD's that went well with the party, and I did
hook up my video camera on a tripod with my portable television and they could tape themselves and watch themselves dancing and doing the talent show. My daughters friends still talk about
the party and remark that it was soooooooooooo fun ! :)
